With months of preparation and anticipation, we can barely contain our excitement as we look forward to BLD Toronto’s 20th Year Anniversary Celebration next Friday, September 17, 2010. We wish to remind everyone that we will have the usual Parade of Banners, only this time, it will led by the DSL, DCS and DLCs. To maintain a spirit of oneness, we invite everyone to be attired in the same white top (and scarves for women) and black pants/skirts.

Fourteen families answered the Lord’s call and attended FE #15 Weekend held at Mount Mary Retreat Center from August 27-29,2010. They all came from different backgrounds, status in life, etc. , but, there was one thing they had in common, and that was the strong desire to improve and strengthen the tie that binds their family together.

Our Global Spiritual Director, Archbishop Angel Lagdameo came to Toronto for a pastoral visit from August 9 – 12. We welcomed him with open arms, grateful that he had come. It has been five years since we last saw him, and here he was finally, this shepherd of God, looking in on his flock to instruct, exhort and encourage.
