Management

The management apostolate is responsible for ensuring the proper administration of the community’s personnel and communication among all the members of the BLD Toronto community. It also handles the material and financial resources of the community. It also makes sure that all these functions are in compliance with BLD’s existing policies and guidelines. The Management Apostolate consists of the following:

Pastoral

It is tasked to oversee the Pastoral Care Program, as a response to God’s covenant love, by nurturing and caring for each other, thus bringing to maturity in Christ, all those whom the Holy Spirit has entrusted in the Community. The Pastoral Ministry consists of the following Ministries:

Mission

Mission is the apostolate of the Community for social action, to strengthen the parish in building basic ecclesial communities and assisting in breaking the yoke of poverty and oppression. This apostolate consists of the following:

Evangelization

Evangelization refers to the development and implementation of the various Encounter Programs and Life in the Spirit Seminars of the BLD Community, particularly of individual BLD Districts, both for adult and youth ministries. Evangelization aids Mission in the conduct and monitoring of such Encounter Programs and Life in the Spirit Seminars in outreaches and parish-assisted projects. This apostolate consists of the following:

Formation

Formation oversees the spiritual growth of Christian Disciples for service in the Community and in the larger Church. This apostolate consists of the following Ministries:

BLD RAFFLE 2011

RAFFLE UPDATE

BLD Raffle 2011 draw was held last Friday, September 16, 2011 during the 21st Community Day celebration at the Our Lady of Assumption Church.

Our beloved Spiritual Director, Fr. Ben Ebcas picked the winning ticket stubs with assistance of DCS Management Frank Cuaresma and Mert Geronimo, Treasury Ministry.

Funds raised from the BLD RAFFLE 2011 will greatly help our Evangelization programs, i.e. ME, SE, SPE, YE, FE & LSS, and also our Mission work.
