FROM THE BYOP MINISTRY

Let's all praise and thank the Lord for a very successful ANCOP/BYOP WALK last Sunday, August 29th. The honor and glory in this victorious fundraiser belongs to our  Lord alone who made it happen for the benefit of the poor and the homeless.

 
Thank you all for your prayers and participation in this WALK. We are, most especially, grateful to the participants and generous donors. Thank you for being part of the cause, for believing in it and sharing your blessings.
 
Initial report indicates that BLD had collected about $15,500. This is about 45% less than what we raised last year. This is still very good considering the bad economic times we are facing and some localized issues we encountered in the last 4 months prior to the WALK.
 
Brothers and Sisters, with the funds that we raised from this WALK, we will be able to support at least 32 young children in their  education for one year  OR build at least 5 houses for our homeless kababayans. 
 
We are also happy to report that there were 39 BLD members  who actually participated in the WALK. Thank you Walkers for representing the BLD Community in this year’s ANCOP Walk. 
 
We hope to see more BLD Walkers next year and please pray for the continued success of our work with the poor.
